Production Supervisor (Dragon Integration – 2nd shift)

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise manufacturing and production of spacecraft components and materials.
  • Work with testing group to ensure tests are administered correctly.
  • Manage Integration of avionics, structural, and mechanical components into build of vehicle.
  • Manage production within a cleanroom environment.
  • Direct hardware delivery projects for the development of structural components. 
  • Effectively manage an overall staff of 10+ technicians.
  • Manage schedule and work load according to needs.
  • Responsible for employee performance reviews.
  • Responsible for maintenance of the machine and making efficiency changes to the production process.
Basic Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of production experience covering Avionics, Structural, or Mechanical assemblies/subassemblies or 5 years of management experience is required.
  • Cleanroom experience
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Strong project oversight experience of complex projects.
  • BS Degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Extensive experience in the manufacturing and production of satellites or spacecraft.
  • 3-5 years of experience with avionics, propulsion, tube fitting, OTW, fabrication and testing.
  • Understanding of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge).
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Must demonstrate some physical dexterity in order to correctly set up tooling and hardware.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift
  • Must be able to work overtime
